Rehabilitation in Hong Kong & Taiwan

January 3rd-16th, 2015

While traveling in Hong Kong and Taiwan I experienced the culture first-hand.  I had the opportunity to try the cuisine, visit temples and religious sites, and gain a better understanding of the way of life in that part of Asia.  I also visited universities and hospitals/rehabilitation centers where I learned about the options for those with a disability.  It was interesting to compare the similarities and differences between this part of Asia and the United States.  I enjoyed traveling and meeting people that were different from me and I hope to travel back in the future.
